Beginning June 17, 2025, if you are enrolled in a Group Class for the upcoming session, the Zoom link for your class is now available online.

Rather than send you the link via email, as we have done in the past, we are now sharing Zoom Links with you through your secure, personal AFA Account. The link is automatically available as soon as you have completed your registration.

Our goal is to provide you with a better overall classroom experience and a more convenient, time-saving and secure way to find the information you need.

Why you'll love this:

No more searching through emails to find that Zoom Link! Now it's available at your fingertips, 24 - 7 through your personal AFA account!

Join each class with just one click from your secure account! No need to open other apps or browsers, just click and connect.

Reminder of upcoming classes! Not sure if there's a holiday scheduled? Just log in to find out. Your next class date will be clearly noted so you can stay on track and plan your week.

How it works:

1.      Simply log in to your personal account, found at My AFA Account on our website. This is the same login you use to register for AFA classes or events.

2.      You will be directed to the tab labelled My Classes where you can view your Group Class schedule and Zoom link.

3.      Click on Join the Virtual Classroom to join your class each week!

N.B. - If you are enrolled in Private Classes, we will continue to send your Zoom links via separate email. Our IT Team is working to provide the same online access to Zoom links for private students, so stay tuned!

Please contact us at admin@afaustin.org if you have any questions or need assistance with accessing your account.

All of our classes and some of our events are online via Zoom. We recommend that you review the latest ZOOM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS if you have questions regarding your device. We strongly recommend that students have a laptop or desktop that meets these requirements in order to take these courses, and of course a reliable internet connection.

For our group classes, we use AlterEgo+ textbook and workbook, and we have noted that there are more than one version of these books online. The CD-ROM is not necessary, but in most cases comes with the textbook. For more information about textbooks, check out the Group Classes page of our site and scroll down.
