French Cuisine at Home

Are you a foodie with a passion for learning new recipes? Join us online at the end of February to make a simple French recipe you can enjoy in the comfort of your own kitchen!

Our group of cooks (that's you!) will be sent links to a short podcast entry in French that details the recipe and cooking instructions. When we meet over Zoom at 11:30am CST Feb 26, 2022 , we'll make Galettes bretonnes complètes together and learn some of the basics of French cooking vocabulary.

The first half of this event will be a "Cook and Chat", during which Blandine will walk everyone through preparing and cooking, while responding to anyone's comments or questions in the Zoom text chat.

The second half of the event will be a A1 - A2 discussion and conversation, (while enjoying your delicious meal, of course!) of the meal you prepared and of the French culture and language.

As mentioned above, this event is for Beginner/ Intermediate learners (A1 104 -- A2 209) who have an interest in learning about French cuisine. The event is led by Blandine Nothhelfer, one of our instructors with a passion for French history and culture. Podcast and Zoom links will be sent out Feb 21, 2022.

We are keeping the attendees at 12 to allow the best opportunity for interaction. The fee is $10 for non-members and $3 for members.
