On the third Sunday of each month join Alliance Française at Austin Studios to discover both classic and contemporary French film.  AFA Ciné-Club is open to everyone, both AFA members and non-members.  Attendees are welcome to bring refreshments.  Snacks & cold drinks will be available on a donation basis. Films presented in French with English subtitles.

This month, AF Ciné-Club presents WALLAY by Berni Goldbalt, a French fiction about a 13-year-old boy sent from his home in France to live with his uncle and his family across the Mediterranean Sea in rural Burkina Faso. The first fiction feature by veteran documentary filmmaker Berni Goldblat, WALLAY shows a documentarian's eye for the ebb and flow of life in a specific locale, attached to universal themes that will appeal to viewers of all ages and nationalities.
