Let Us Introduce Ourselves

Alliance Française d'Austin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, self-financed organization whose mission is to encourage and develop knowledge of the French language and French and Francophone cultures, and to foster cultural, intellectual and artistic exchanges between the United States, France and French-speaking countries.  Alliance Française d'Austin is part of the largest international network of language and cultural centers in the world with over 800 Alliances worldwide in 132 countries.  Alliance Française d'Austin has a comprehensive school program, offering French language classes for adults and children at all levels, with 1500+ registrations a year, over 40 regular group classes per week, plus specialty and theme classes, and an exemplary private lesson program.  Alliance Française also offers monthly screenings of fine French films through AFCiné-club, bi-monthly Pétanque matches, monthly French Book Club de Lecture discussions, and socializing and networking opportunities for Young Professionals and College Students through AFA's well-received Réseau Jeunes Francophones program.  

Membership in Alliance Française d'Austin offers the benefits of engaging with people from other cultures, the benefits of knowlege of French language and Francophone cultures, and an active social and cultural calendar.
